Shirin Tooloee
Clinical Engineer at Johnson and Johnson Medtech

Ms. Shirin Tooloee, M.S. is a Clinical Engineer at Johnson and Johnson Medtech, working in the Robotics and Digital Solutions franchise. A graduate from from Archbishop Mitty High School where she played volleyball and won 2 California State Championships, she then went on to Brown University to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She also explored various internships throughout college in fields such as orthopedics research, brain-computer interfaces, and pharmaceuticals. 

In her role as a clinical engineer, Ms. Tooloee describes a typical day in her life as running labs, meeting with cross-functional partners, writing requirements, working on clinical research, and triaging issues. Her talk about the field of clinical engineering, her career experiences, and her educational journey was very valuable for our students to hear about and extremely relevant from a STEM perspective!
